Arafura Games Accreditation Now Open And Online

The acting Minister for Sport and Recreation Marion Scrymgour today announced Arafura Games 2007 accreditation was open and available online at

www.arafuragames.nt.gov.au

 

“The Arafura Games is a fantastic sporting spectacle and a celebration of our great Territory lifestyle,” Ms Scrymgour said.

 

"Any one who has any involvement in the Games needs to be accredited.

 

“Accreditation provides Games organisers with details to ensure the week is a huge success.

 

"Over 5000 participants from across the Asia Pacific and beyond, including volunteers, athletes, team officials, media and staff will be registered in the lead up to the Arafura Games.

 

"Games organisers are encouraging online accreditations however hard copy forms are also available on request. All accreditation forms received before April 13 will go into the draw to win a $50 Arafura Games merchandise voucher,” Ms Scrymgour said.

 

The Accreditation Centre is the first point of call for all Arafura Games participants upon their arrival in Darwin. The Games Accreditation Centre will be located at the Darwin Entertainment Centre, Mitchell Street Darwin and will be open from 16 April 2007.
