The Minister for Infrastructure, Delia Lawrie, today announced that work on the third stage on the

“New street lighting, landscaping and an elevated footpath constructed to disability standards will also be included as part of the upgrade.
“The project will also include significant works at the
Ms Lawrie said the planned upgrade would not compromise nearby heritage sites including the old Railway Club and Stella Maris Hostel.
She said the upgrade to
“Stage three of the McMinn Street Duplication will create 34 jobs including five apprentices and continue to support work in the construction industry as well as meet the growing traffic demand to service the CBD,” she said.
