Final week to Have Your Say on the new Museum of the Northern Territory

Territorians have until the end of this week to provide feedback on the first phase of consultation on the new Museum of the Northern Territory.

“The Territory Labor Government is investing in our arts and cultural assets because we know they attract more visitors, provide a boost to the economy and create local jobs,” Minister for Tourism and Culture, Lauren Moss said.

“As a Government, we promised to listen and then act and that is what we are doing through this consultation on the new Museum of the Northern Territory, which is part of revitalising the Darwin CBD.”

Workshops and pop-up stalls have been held in Darwin, Tennant Creek, Katherine and Alice Springs.

Nationally acclaimed, award-winning architects troppo and ARM Architecture joined with Darwin Corporate Communications to lead the community consultation program ahead of the design and development of the new Museum.
