Tourism NT is hosting Tourism marketing roadshow presentations in Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs next week.
Tourism Australia will partner with Tourism NT to deliver a joint industry presentation in Darwin and will also attend the presentations in Alice Springs and Katherine.
Acting Minister for Tourism and Culture, Eva Lawler said the presentations will provide NT tourism operators a first look at Tourism NT's 2018-19 draft marketing direction.
“As part of the $103 million boost to Turbocharging Tourism, we said we would develop long-term tourism industry strategies closely with industry to ensure the strategic direction is co-led and co-owned and that’s what we are doing,” Ms Lawler said.
“We want to strengthen connections, communication, coordination and planning across the sector.
“With the presentation from Tourism Australia in Darwin, this will be an opportunity to find out more about their strategic objectives and global market strategy as well as latest news and international insights.”
Highlights will include a presentation on the current state of tourism numbers, upcoming domestic and international priority areas and information on how to become involved during the 2018-19 year.
