Attorney-General and Minister for Justice
Territory Labor Government is building safer work places with a six month
independent review of the Territory regulator, NT Worksafe.
As part of this undertaking, the independent reviewer has drafted a discussion paper to seek public feedback and input into the review.
Attorney General, Natasha Fyles, said it’s important to ensure the regulator has the best possible operating model to protect Territory workers and support business.
“This six month review of NT Worksafe will look at the policies, procedures and activities in place and consider how best practices can be implemented to support staff and stakeholders.”
The discussion paper is now open and may be accessed via https://justice.nt.gov.au/attorney-general-and-justice/law/open-law-reform-consultation.
Submissions close on 31 August 2018 and should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
The final report is due later this year.
