Quotes from Nicole Manison, Minister for Screen Territory

“MaveriX is the largest TV production to ever be filmed in the Territory and it is expected to inject $5 million into the local economy and create around 400 local jobs.”

“Investing in the Northern Territory Screen Industry is incredibly important. It helps share Territory stories and provides job opportunities for the screen sector and a wide range of Territory businesses.

“The Territory Government has invested $9 million into the Northern Territory Screen Industry over four years, and this investment has seen significant growth in our screen sector and development of local productions.”

MaveriX Co-creator, Isaac Elliott:

“MaveriX has been 5 years in the making but really it stems from growing up in Alice Springs in and around motocross. It’s the most exciting sport in the world and it’s amazing to be able to bring the sport through MaveriX to the ABC.”

“Being back in Alice Springs makes all the work up to this point seem real, but really it’s only just the beginning and now the rubber hits the road, or in this case the bikes hit the track and its full throttle from this point forward.  Let’s Go!”

MaveriX Line producer, Ross Allsop:

“I’m so very happy to be here and starting work on this amazing show.  I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
