New Home for Local Rugby League Open to the Community

Office of the Chief Minister

Territorians will get their first look at the newly completed $25.3 million Territory Rugby League Stadium at Marrara on Sunday 19 May.

This brand new home for local rugby league has three fields, a 1200-seat grandstand, four change rooms, corporate facilities, food and beverage facilities, onsite storage for clubs and car parking for over 500 cars, the facility will help to grow rugby league in the Territory, including encouraging more women and girls to play.

NRLNT will also be based at the stadium complex, allowing the code and local competition to be run from within its main stadium.

This fast-tracked project was awarded to local company Halikos Group, creating around 120 jobs for locals and stimulating the local economy.

Next month, the combined affiliated states Men’s Carnival will see our NT Titans play in front of their home town supporters.

Free opening celebrations will be held at the stadium Sunday 19 May from 10 am to 12 pm.

There will be plenty of fun activities, a BBQ and clinics for all the family - Everyone is welcome.
