Attracting Visitors: Redback Race returns to Red Centre

Visitors from across the country will descend upon Alice Springs today as part of this year’s Redback Mountain Biking Stage Race until Sunday 25 August.

The 12th Redback Stage Race showcases the incredible mountain biking in Australia’s Red Centre to national and international visitors, as riders navigate an extensive network of hand-made, single-tracks around Alice Springs.

As part of Turbocharging Tourism, the Territory Labor Government is investing $12 million to open up new and developing existing adventure cycling tracks in the Red Centre, reinforcing its global mountain-biking reputation.
