Quotes from Minister for Health, Natasha Fyles:

“Investing in health care has been a priority for the Territory Labor Government, and providing this free, high-quality dental service for Territory kids is a testament to that.

“We know the Northern Territory has a rate of tooth decay much higher than the Australian average, and our services, which provide education as well as clinical support, also focus on preventative strategies for our kids both urban and remote.

“The Territory Labor Government has invested heavily into health and associated services including the recruitment and retention of clinical staff and service delivery across the Norther Territory, including in dental.”
