Quotes from Minister for Tourism, Sport and Culture, Lauren Moss:
“The Territory Labor Government has reprioritised $1.3 million in funding towards the Sport and Active Recreation Sector Immediate Response and Resilience Package as we recognise the critical role that sport and active recreation plays in our community and will play in our community’s recovery.
“This is the most difficult situation the sector has ever faced. While community sports and competitions are able to resume through the Territory’s Roadmap to the New Normal, there is a long road ahead.
“The Sport and Active Recreation Sector Immediate Response and Resilience Package will provide immediate support to assist the sector to rebuild and to navigate through the upcoming challenges.”
