The Territory Screen Industry is delivering huge returns for the Territory economy and this week sees the release of the 2021-22 Screen Territory Funding Program.
The grants available will support NT screen practitioners in Story Development, Industry Partnerships, Audience Development and Production Finance.
Funding will also be available to Territory screen practitioners for Travel and Career Development, both strands are open all year around.
For the first time the screen funding program has also introduced a new category, the Production Attraction Incentive Program, which is open to all Australian and international producers, production companies and studios.
This new stream aims to attract and increase screen productions in the Territory providing social and economic benefits to the NT along with employment and upskilling opportunities for the NT screen practitioners.
The Production Attractive Incentive Program is complemented by the Screen Territory Reel-Scout film-office business platform, a one-stop solution for producers and studios to source Territory crew, facilities and locations.
Round 1 is open now with applications closing 20 September 2021.
